Speaking Engagements

I love design so much,

I’m willing to get on stage and talk about it.

When I say I’m passionate about design, I mean it. I love creating it, studying it, questioning it – and sharing what I learn with other people.

For me, speaking is about more than presenting information. It’s an opportunity to share new knowledge, spark curiosity in a student or emerging creative, help an entrepreneur approach their brand more intentionally, or simply connect with people who are equally fascinated by why we choose what we choose.

Whether we realize it or not, design is constantly influencing our decisions. It shapes what we notice, what we trust, what we remember and what we choose – often before we consciously understand why. I love bringing the psychology behind those reactions to light and helping people see the designed world a little differently.

Through visual experiments, audience games and familiar real-world examples, I turn design psychology into an experience that is accessible, engaging and useful – even for people without a design background.

Your audience won’t simply listen - they’ll participate.

This interactive talk explores how typography, shape, colour, packaging and branding influence the assumptions we make in seconds. Through visual experiments, audience games and recognizable examples, audiences discover how their brains connect visual cues with personality, quality, emotion and meaning.

The goal isn’t to stop design from influencing us. It’s to become more aware of when and how it happens – and to make more deliberate decisions as both consumers and communicators.
